Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of retail management experience
  • ability to operate cash register frequently
  • ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds
  • ability to ascend and descend ladders safely
  • ability to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop frequently
  • excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, managers, and coworkers
  • ability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel as required
  • ability to understand and follow instructions from emails and printed materials
  • ability to remain stationary in an upright position for 80 percent of the time

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor
  • manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are properly highlighted, following corporate guidelines for resets and seasonal updates
  • manages the entire process of opening or closing the store, which includes securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring everything is in place for a smooth daily operation
  • acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing any urgent issues
  • helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they are performing their duties effectively and providing excellent customer service
  • supports the onboarding and ongoing training of associates, helping them learn store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures to improve their performance
  • drives store sales and controls expenses by actively seeking ways to boost sales through optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service
  • executes the market plan by arranging products and signage according to corporate guidelines, ensuring promotional materials are displayed properly and updated regularly
  • ensures the execution of company Inventory Integrity process
