Job Requirements

  • Ability to recall member preferences and demonstrate exceptional character in job duties
  • perform personal services such as shoe shining
  • restock and maintain inventory of supplies
  • perform housekeeping functions including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, polishing, dusting, and emptying wastebaskets
  • maintain cleanliness of restrooms and showers
  • follow safety precautions in handling cleaning solutions and equipment
  • perform work while standing with frequent bending, stooping, and twisting
  • carry, push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds several times per shift
  • work in wet, humid environment and walk on wet surfaces

Job Qualifications

  • One year of prior customer service and/or custodial experience
  • experience in a country club setting preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work standing for extended periods
  • attention to detail
  • professional demeanor
  • ability to follow safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Greet members with courtesy and kindness
  • recall member preferences and provide personalized service
  • perform shoe shining and other personal services for members
  • restock and maintain inventory of supplies in locker rooms, restrooms, showers, steam room, and fitness areas
  • perform general housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, polishing, dusting, and emptying wastebaskets
  • maintain cleanliness of restrooms and showers
  • follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment
