Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Positive and energetic attitude toward residents
- Proficient computer skills for documentation
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and post-fall support
- Must pass criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Basic computer skills for documentation and information entry
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
- Criminal clearance
Job Duties
- Be an advocate of empathy by creating human connections with residents during vulnerable moments
- Be a patient observer to understand residents' interests and abilities and collaborate on engagement plans
- Be a master of the mise en scène by preparing environments for daily activities and resident routines
- Partner with residents to assist in all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping
- Document resident care and changes in condition accurately
- Assist with orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods
