Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years experience in a social or recreation program or similar healthcare setting
- Food Handlers Card required upon hire
- Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with an elder population
- Knowledge of computers, data entry, retrieval, output
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or regulatory agencies
- Able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the public
- Must be 25 years or older to drive company vehicle
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Develop and distribute a monthly activities calendar and newsletter for residents and family members
- Coordinate and schedule outside vendors and presenters
- Participate in community event planning with the marketing staff
- Prepare person centered activities as a description for the monthly calendar
- Create and update residents service plan preferences in their electronic health record
- Make routine visits to residents
- Plan, prepare and operate under the activities budget
- Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies
- Attend quarterly LED meetings
