Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to read write speak and understand English
- maintain current Food Handler's card
- education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements or as required by State regulations
- meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
- attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- maintains clean neat comfortable safe environment for residents staff and visitors
- compassion and special interest in working with senior population
- ability to relate positively and communicate appropriately with residents families community members volunteers and other employees
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and overtime
- pass a criminal background and fingerprint check
- basic computer knowledge and ability with aptitude to learn company applications
- ability to creatively problem-solve
- ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepares food items and serves food to residents within scheduled timeframe
- follows menu cycle noting changes or substitutions on proper form
- cleans and maintains a neat safe working environment including kitchen and food service areas
- complies with state sanitation codes
- maintains inventory control places food order verifies items received appropriately and restocks kitchen shelves
- directs food serve and dining service functions
- maintains quality of food prepared and samples food to ensure quality served to residents
