Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Basic computer skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and helping after a fall
- Must pass criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Basic computer skills for printing and data entry
- Experience in memory care or senior living preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and observational skills
- Commitment to compassionate resident care
Job Duties
- Be an advocate of empathy by creating human connection with residents during their vulnerable moments
- Be a patient observer by discovering residents’ interests, abilities, and collaborating on engagement plans
- Set the physical environment or mise en scène for the residents’ daily experiences
- Partner with residents to assist with all facets of daily life
- Document resident care and changes in condition accurately
- Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods
- Support residents with mobility including sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
