Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • experience in senior care preferred
  • must pass licensing and background checks
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to engage seniors in activities
  • physical ability to assist with ADLs

Job Duties

  • Help create, plan, direct, coordinate, manage events and activities that promote rich living experiences for residents
  • foster an environment where play is as important as assisting with care
  • promote physical and mental stimulation, spiritual needs, social engagement, and lifelong learning
  • assist residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, making beds, serving meals, personal laundry, showers, toileting, dressing, undressing, oral and hair care, transfers and ambulation
  • observe residents for safety and report any change of condition to Memory Care Director
