Job Requirements
- Graduation from college in a related field such as marketing, communication or hospitality
- minimum five years membership-related experience including acquisition, retention, and upgrades
- knowledge and experience with Tessitura or similar donor database software
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and email marketing software
- strong technical knowledge of database management and data integrity
- exceptional project management skills
- excellent member service and communication skills
- ability to manage team and collaborate effectively
- ability to work in office and occasionally outdoor garden environments
- ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, hospitality or related field
- minimum five years of membership-related experience including acquisition, retention, and upgrades
- proficiency with Tessitura or similar CRM software
- experience in public gardens preferred
- strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- project management expertise
- ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- supervisory experience
Job Duties
- Develop and implement membership retention and acquisition strategies
- respond to member inquiries promptly and efficiently
- coordinate customer service efforts including record reconciliation and membership request processing
- plan and manage membership events and campaigns
- lead and train membership team members and volunteers
- use Tessitura to track revenue, membership data and generate reports
- collaborate with marketing on multi-channel communication efforts including newsletters and email campaigns
