Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service or sales experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office and Google Documents
- ability to follow established policies and procedures
- ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- willingness to participate in required training programs
- ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- ability to lift, pull and move up to 50 pounds
- pass required background checks including criminal, CPS and drug screening

- must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- former YMCA experience utilizing SGA Sales preferred
Job Duties
- Implements sales and membership strategies to recruit new members and retain existing ones
- creates a member-focused culture and models relationship-building skills in all interactions
- fosters a climate of innovation and resolves problems to ensure exemplary member satisfaction
- promotes program and membership enrollment in conjunction with marketing efforts
- coordinates program registration including logistics to support phone, walk-in and web registration
- ensures proper implementation of member service procedures and communicates changes to staff
- assists in organizing membership events and represents the YMCA at community events
- participates in staff meetings and completes required employee training
- follows all established YMCA standards, policies and procedures
- assists in all areas as assigned
