Job Requirements
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

- Previous customer service, sales or related experience
- Strong knowledge of computer operations, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Documents
- High attention to accuracy and detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Former YMCA experience utilizing SGA Sales preferred
- Minimum age of 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service, sales, or related experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Documents
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities
- Experience with YMCA systems like SGA Sales preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of conflict resolution
- Commitment to providing excellent member service
- Familiarity with community engagement and outreach
- Ability to maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols
Job Duties
- Delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants
- Responds to member and guest needs
- Promotes memberships and programs
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the facility
- Implements sales and membership strategies supporting recruitment and retention
- Creates a member-focused culture
- Models relationship-building skills including Listen First and YMCA Service Creed
- Fosters innovation and resolves problems to ensure member satisfaction
- Promotes program and membership enrollment
- Coordinates program registration logistics
- Ensures proper implementation of member service procedures
- Communicates procedural changes to staff
- Assists in organizing membership and community events
- Participates in staff and related meetings
- Completes required employee training
- Follows all organizational policies including safety and ADA accommodations
- Maintains program site and records
- Assists in all assigned areas
