Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work early evening hours and some days as needed
- reliable transportation for travel to community locations within Canton and surrounding areas
- ability to engage actively with community members and represent Girl Scouts positively
- comfortable using technology to assist with registration processes
- willingness to work in a casual employment capacity
- commitment to the values and mission of Girl Scouts

- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience with public speaking or facilitating group events
- ability to engage diverse audiences including children and adults
- familiarity with basic computer systems and online registration platforms
- ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- understanding and appreciation of diversity and inclusivity
Job Duties
- serve as primary on-site host for in-school and evening registration events designed to introduce Girl Scouting to potential new girls and volunteers and families
- clearly communicate to potential members the Girl Scouts mission including the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and the benefits of being a Girl Scout member
- work collaboratively with recruitment coordinators, volunteer recruiters, and other staff to fulfill goals for each event
- promote events via in-school rallies as schedules permit
- assist with and perform registration for new members, including troubleshooting issues with the online registration system
- record event attendance and results
- ensure Girl Scouting is open to all girls and adults by delivering the Girl Scout message of pluralism and diversity to members of the council
- perform other duties as assigned to promote the successful implementation of GSNEO’s goals and objectives
