Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to qualify for necessary federal, state, and local licenses and permits
  • Physical ability to stand, reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, and balance in varying work environments
  • Comfortable exposure to moderate noise levels and unrestricted secondhand tobacco smoke
  • Flexible schedule with availability on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to travel and attend social functions
  • Strong reasoning ability to follow instructions and solve problems
  • Competency in communication skills in English
  • Ability to engage professionally in social and networking settings

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of relevant experience with a proven track record in leading a professional, service-oriented operation
  • At least two years of management experience
  • Sales-driven mindset and experience
  • Proficient in daily use of Microsoft Office Suite and other related systems
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, delegate, and control tasks
  • Flexible schedule including availability for weekends, holidays, and travel
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to apply commonsense to solve problems within standard situations

Job Duties

  • Take a central role in maintaining and managing a diverse membership committee across creative industries and locations
  • Track sales leads and convert prospects into official members
  • Collect feedback on club developments, facilities, and service levels
  • Collaborate to resolve card, payment, or paperwork issues
  • Monitor member resignations, note reasons, and reach out when appropriate
  • Maintain a visible presence as the face of the club, introduce yourself to new members and explain your role
  • Actively contribute to planning and executing member event programs and suggest new event formats
  • Implement processes to document inappropriate member behavior and evaluate impact on renewal
  • Participate in local creative and club scenes, network and raise awareness about the club and membership
  • Educate management and staff on generating applications from potential new members
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or necessary
