Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in event planning or related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing, communications, or related field preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in event planning, communications, or membership coordination preferably in a private club or hospitality environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing vendor relations
  • Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting
  • Creativity in developing marketing campaigns and content creation

Job Duties

  • Plans and manages all aspects of social, private, and golf-related events at the club including weddings, member events, holiday celebrations, golf tournaments, and milestone occasions
  • Collaborates with all department heads to create and promote club-wide events, programming, and campaigns
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for members and outside clients booking events
  • Conducts initial consultations, develops proposals and contracts, and leads the planning process from start to finish
  • Prepares detailed Banquet Event Orders and ensures all necessary departments are aligned on event logistics
  • Coordinates setup, staffing, and breakdown for all events to meet service standards
  • Communicates and collaborates with executive chef, front of house manager, and golf professional on event details
  • Maintains master events calendar and communicates upcoming events
  • Assists with event promotion via flyers, emails, and member communications
  • Builds and maintains relationships with local vendors
  • Tracks event costs, billing, and ensures accurate invoicing and financial reporting
  • Collects post-event feedback and supports continuous improvement
  • Represents the club’s brand and culture with professionalism and a member-first approach
  • Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the club’s vision
  • Creates and curates content for internal and external communications including email campaigns, social media, and newsletters
