- cash handling experience desired
- sales experience desired

- thorough knowledge of deposit products and regulations
- accuracy in cash handling and transaction recording
- good telephone manners
- ability to work with minimal direction and exercise sound judgment

- proficiency with computer applications
- ability to develop and maintain effective relationships as a team
- must be bondable
- punctuality and reliable attendance

Job Duties
- Adheres to the Credit Union Service Standards in carrying out GreenState's mission and vision
- demonstrates a positive member service focus, greeting members with a smile and acknowledging them
- demonstrates teamwork in all interactions
- ensures confidentiality of member information
- supports a diverse and inclusive work environment
- makes weekly outbound service calls to members
- answers member questions or refers them to appropriate departments
- assists with account discrepancies and escalates as necessary
- performs member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, loan payments, and promotional sales
- builds member relationships by recognizing their financial needs and referring them to specialized departments
- maintains balancing records
- educates members and staff on product features and benefits
- refers products and services to achieve team goals
- examines checks and determines availability of funds
- processes mail and night deposit transactions
- completes necessary forms and participates in opening and closing procedures
- completes daily balancing and reconciliation
- monitors and manages the vault funds
- assists in security procedures
- balances and maintains cash recyclers
- participates in community service and credit union sponsored events
