Job Requirements
- Minimum of two weekday shifts per week
- Minimum two weekend shifts per month
- Completion of CPR/AED, First Aid, Oxygen and Blood Borne Pathogen training within 60 days of employment
- Completion of child abuse prevention training on or before first day of work
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to relate to diverse groups
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and situations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications

- Previous customer service or related experience

Job Duties
- Adhere to policies related to boundaries with youth
- Complete required abuse risk management training
- Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations
- Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements
- Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities
- Ensure check-in procedures are followed
- Provide excellent customer service
- Promote memberships and program enrollment
- Answer phone and assist members with questions and concerns
- Perform various clerical duties
- Handle and resolve membership concerns
- Inform supervisors of unusual situations or unresolved issues
- Build relationships with members and help them connect with one another
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby area
- Apply all YMCA policies dealing with member services
