Job Requirements
- Must have at least one year of similar or related experience or 12 months in an MSR role with knowledge of all credit union accounts and products
- High energy and sales ability and interpersonal skills to represent the credit union professionally
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize work assignments
- Must demonstrate good time management skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with computer applications, spreadsheets, word processing, and databases
- Proven relationship building skills
- Must be self-motivated and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to maintain composure and problem solve
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Ability to work with minimal direction
- Reports to work punctually and works scheduled hours including overtime as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be bondable
- Must be registered pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements
- Adheres to all state, federal, and credit union regulations, policies, and guidelines
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of similar or related experience or 12 months in a Member Service Representative role
- Knowledge of credit union accounts and products
- High energy and strong sales ability
- Proven interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in computer applications such as spreadsheets and databases
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with sound judgment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of federal regulations related to deposits
- Registered pursuant to the requirements of the SAFE Act
- High school diploma or GED
Job Duties
- Adheres to the Credit Union Service Standards in carrying out GreenState's mission and vision
- Demonstrates a positive member service focus at all times, greeting members and guests warmly and professionally
- Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in completing duties
- Ensures confidentiality of member information and account records
- Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Asks questions, listens to members' needs, and offers tailored financial solutions
- Acts as part of a cohesive team with excellent interpersonal skills
- Profiles members to identify opportunities for additional business
- Structures loan applications by working with underwriters and adhering to policies
- Makes weekly outbound sales calls to members
- Accurately balances a cash drawer daily and understands credit union policies
- Builds member relationships by recognizing financial needs and referring to specialized departments
- Participates in promotions, contests, and departmental activities to support team goals
- Responsible for sales of loan protection products
- Possesses thorough knowledge of federal regulations concerning deposits
- Performs vault duties including cash ordering and balancing
- Engages in community service and credit union sponsored events to enrich community ties
