Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- experience in customer service or retail preferred
- ability to operate cash registers and self-checkout technology
- ability to maintain a positive attitude when interacting with members

- physical capability to stand for prolonged periods

Job Duties
- Maintaining safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- following forklift spotting procedures
- following procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
- following company steel standard guidelines
- correcting and reporting unsafe situations to facility management
- providing member service by acknowledging members and identifying member needs
- assisting members with purchasing decisions
- locating merchandise
- resolving member issues and concerns
- promoting company's products and services
- providing guidance and support on member self-service technology
- processing member purchases
- assisting with payments according to policies for various membership and payment types
- assisting with transactions using registers or self-checkout
- zoning and organizing merchandise
- complying with company policies, procedures, and ethics guidelines
- completing work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and collaboration
- communicating progress and information
- adapting to changes and feedback
