Job Duties

  • Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
  • follow forklift spotting procedures
  • handle and dispose of hazardous materials responsibly
  • comply with company steel standard guidelines
  • correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
  • provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
  • assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
  • resolve member issues and concerns
  • promote company products and services
  • provide guidance on self-service technology
  • process member purchases and payments accurately
  • assist members with transactions at registers and self-checkout areas
  • maintain clean, neat, and member-ready checkout areas
  • comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
  • complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources
  • collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners
  • identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations
  • communicate progress and information
  • recommend improvements
  • adapt to changes, difficulties, and feedback
