Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior customer service or retail experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to stand for extended periods
  • basic math skills for transaction processing
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • commitment to delivering excellent member service
  • drug-free workplace compliance

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience
  • retail experience including operating front end equipment such as cash registers
  • familiarity with mobile retail applications
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to stand for long periods while assisting members

Job Duties

  • Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
  • follow forklift spotting procedures
  • handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to guidelines
  • correct and report unsafe situations to management
  • provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
  • assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
  • resolve member issues and concerns
  • promote company products and services
  • guide members regarding self-service technology
  • process member purchases and payments
  • assist with transactions using registers or self-checkout
  • zone and organize merchandise areas
  • comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
  • complete work assignments by using resources efficiently
  • collaborate with managers, coworkers, and customers
  • communicate progress and recommend improvements
  • adapt to changes and feedback
