Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior retail or cashier experience preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • compliance with company drug-free workplace policy

  • retail experience including operating front end equipment such as cash registers

Job Duties

  • Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
  • follow forklift spotting procedures
  • handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to procedures
  • correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
  • provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
  • assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
  • resolve member issues and concerns
  • promote company products and services
  • provide guidance on member self-service technology
  • process member purchases and payments according to company policies
  • assist with transactions at registers and self-checkout area
  • zone and organize merchandise area
  • comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources
  • collaborate with managers, co-workers, and customers
  • identify priorities and deadlines
  • communicate progress and recommend improvements
  • adapt to changes and feedback
