Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- follow forklift spotting procedures
- handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to procedures
- follow company steel standard guidelines
- correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
- provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions
- locate merchandise for members
- resolve member issues and concerns
- promote company products and services
- provide guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology
- process member purchases using registers or self-checkout area
- assist members with payments according to company policies for different membership and payment types
- zone the checkout area
- arrange and organize merchandise
- comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources
- collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners
- identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations
- communicate progress and information
- determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities
- adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback
