Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- follow forklift spotting procedures
- handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly
- adhere to company steel standard guidelines
- report unsafe situations to management
- acknowledge members and identify their needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions
- locate merchandise
- resolve member issues and concerns
- promote company products and services
- provide guidance on member self-service technology
- process member purchases and payments according to company policies
- assist members with register and self-checkout transactions
- zone and organize merchandise area
- maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- collaborate with managers, co-workers, and customers to complete work assignments and priorities
- communicate progress and seek opportunities for improvement
