Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior retail or customer service experience preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to operate cash registers and technology
  • good interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • commitment to safety policies
  • ability to multitask effectively

Job Duties

  • maintaining safety of facility according to company policies by conducting safety sweeps
  • following forklift spotting procedures
  • handling and disposing of hazardous materials according to procedures
  • correcting and reporting unsafe situations to management
  • providing member service by greeting and identifying members needs
  • assisting members with purchasing decisions and merchandise location
  • resolving member issues and concerns
  • promoting company products and services
  • supporting members with self-service technology
  • processing member purchases and payments
  • assisting members with transactions using registers or self-checkout
  • zoning the area and organizing merchandise
  • complying with company policies and ethics
  • collaborating with managers and co-workers to complete work assignments
  • communicating progress and recommending improvements
