- prior experience in retail cashier or customer service preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- follow forklift spotting procedures
- handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly
- adhere to company steel standard guidelines
- correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
- provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
- resolve member issues and concerns
- promote company products and services
- provide guidance and support on member self-service technology
- process member purchases and assist with payments according to policies
- operate registers and self-checkout areas
- zone the area and arrange merchandise
- comply with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics and integrity
- use Open Door Policy for related actions
- execute business processes
- complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources
- collaborate with managers, co-workers, and customers
- identify priorities and deadlines
