Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable using technology for transactions and scanning
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude with members
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Retail experience including operating front end equipment such as cash registers
- Working knowledge of mobile retail applications
- Ability to efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for long periods while assisting members
- Problem-solving skills to address member needs and operational challenges
Job Duties
- Maintaining a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
- Providing exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Conducting safety sweeps and following safety procedures including forklift spotting and handling hazardous materials
- Assisting members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues
- Processing member purchases and assisting with payments using registers or self-checkout technology
- Complying with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
