Job Duties

  • maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
  • follow forklift spotting procedures
  • follow procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
  • follow company steel standard guidelines
  • correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
  • provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
  • assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
  • resolve member issues and concerns
  • promote company products and services
  • provide guidance to members regarding self-service technology
  • process member purchases and payments
  • assist members with transactions using registers or self-checkout
  • zone and organize merchandise area
  • comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards by implementing related action plans
  • complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources
  • collaborate with managers, co-workers and business partners
  • communicate progress and recommend improvements
  • adapt to change and learn from feedback
