Job Duties
- maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- follow forklift spotting procedures
- follow procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
- follow company steel standard guidelines
- correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
- provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
- resolve member issues and concerns
- promote company products and services
- provide guidance to members regarding self-service technology
- process member purchases and payments
- assist members with transactions using registers or self-checkout
- zone and organize merchandise area
- comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards by implementing related action plans
- complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources
- collaborate with managers, co-workers and business partners
- communicate progress and recommend improvements
- adapt to change and learn from feedback
