Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience
  • retail experience including operating front end equipment such as cash registers
  • experience working with mobile retail applications

Job Duties

  • Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
  • follow forklift spotting procedures
  • handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to procedures
  • adhere to company steel standard guidelines
  • report unsafe situations to facility management
  • provide member service by acknowledging and identifying member needs
  • assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
  • resolve member issues and concerns
  • promote the company’s products and services
  • provide guidance on member self-service technology
  • process member purchases and assist with payments according to company policies
  • assist members with transactions using registers or self-checkout
  • zone and organize merchandise
  • comply with company policies and standards of ethics
  • complete work assignments and priorities using available data and resources
  • collaborate with managers, coworkers, and business partners
  • communicate progress and information effectively
  • recommend improvements
  • adapt to change and feedback
