Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience
  • retail experience including operating front end equipment such as cash registers

Job Duties

  • Maintain safety of facility according to company policies by conducting safety sweeps
  • follow forklift spotting procedures
  • handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to guidelines
  • maintain company steel standard guidelines
  • correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
  • provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
  • assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
  • resolve member issues and concerns
  • promote company products and services
  • guide members on self-service technology
  • process member purchases and payments through registers or self-checkout
  • zone and organize merchandise and the checkout area
  • comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • use the Open Door Policy to address action plans
  • complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers
  • prioritize tasks and communicate progress
  • recommend ways to improve operations
  • adapt and learn from change and feedback
