Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility according to company policies by conducting safety sweeps
- follow forklift spotting procedures
- handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to guidelines
- maintain company steel standard guidelines
- correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
- provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
- resolve member issues and concerns
- promote company products and services
- guide members on self-service technology
- process member purchases and payments through registers or self-checkout
- zone and organize merchandise and the checkout area
- comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- use the Open Door Policy to address action plans
- complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers
- prioritize tasks and communicate progress
- recommend ways to improve operations
- adapt and learn from change and feedback
