Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail or cashier experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must comply with company safety and drug-free workplace policies

Job Duties

  • Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
  • Follow forklift spotting procedures
  • Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to procedures
  • Correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
  • Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
  • Assist members with purchasing decisions
  • Locate merchandise for members
  • Resolve member issues and concerns
  • Promote company's products and services
  • Guide members on self-service technology
  • Process member purchases including payments at registers and self-checkout
  • Zone and organize merchandise areas
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics and integrity standards
  • Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers
  • Communicate progress and recommend improvements
  • Adapt to changes and feedback
