Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- follow forklift spotting procedures
- handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly
- adhere to company steel standard guidelines
- correct and report unsafe situations to management
- provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions
- locate merchandise
- resolve member issues and concerns
- promote company products and services
- provide guidance on self-service technology
- process member purchases accurately
- assist members with payments using registers or self-checkout
- zone and organize the checkout area
- comply with company policies and ethics standards
- complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with team members and managers
- communicate progress and suggest improvements
- adapt to changes and feedback
