Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- follow forklift spotting procedures
- handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to procedures
- adhere to company steel standard guidelines
- correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
- provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions
- locate merchandise
- resolve member issues and concerns
- promote company products and services
- provide guidance and support for member self-service technology
- process member purchases
- assist members with payments according to membership and payment types
- assist with transactions utilizing registers or self-checkout area
- zone the area
- arrange and organize merchandise
- comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources
- collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners
- identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations
- communicate progress and information
- recommend ways to address improvement opportunities
