Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
experience in customer service or retail preferred
ability to operate cash register and related equipment
able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
ability to stand for extended periods
capable of handling fast-paced work environment
strong communication skills
problem-solving mindset
willing to follow safety policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous retail or customer service experience preferred
experience operating front-end equipment such as cash registers
ability to work with mobile retail applications
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to multitask efficiently

Job Duties

Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
follow forklift spotting procedures
handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly
comply with company steel standard guidelines
correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs
assist members with purchasing decisions
locate merchandise for members
resolve member issues and concerns
promote company products and services
guide members with self-service technology
process member purchases accurately
assist with different membership and payment types
operate registers and self-checkout area
zone and organize merchandise
maintain clean and neat member-ready area
comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and other business partners
prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
communicate progress and improvement opportunities
adapt to change and learn from feedback
