- retail experience including operating front end equipment such as cash registers
- experience working with mobile retail applications
Job Duties
- maintaining safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- following forklift spotting procedures
- handling and disposing of hazardous materials properly
- following company steel standard guidelines
- correcting and reporting unsafe situations to facility management
- providing member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs
- assisting members with purchasing decisions
- locating merchandise
- resolving member issues and concerns
- promoting company products and services
- supporting members with self-service technology
- processing member purchases and payments
- assisting members with transactions at registers or self-checkout
- zoning the area and organizing merchandise
- complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- completing work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners
- identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations
- communicating progress
