Job Duties

  • maintaining safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
  • following forklift spotting procedures
  • following procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
  • following company steel standard guidelines
  • correcting and reporting unsafe situations to facility management
  • providing member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
  • assisting members with purchasing decisions
  • locating merchandise
  • resolving member issues and concerns
  • promoting company products and services
  • providing guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology
  • processing member purchases
  • assisting members with payments according to company policies
  • assisting with transactions utilizing registers or self-checkout areas
  • zoning and organizing merchandise
  • complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • completing work assignments by using policies, data, and resources
  • collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners
  • identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations
  • communicating progress and information
  • determining and recommending improvements
