Job Duties
- maintaining safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- following forklift spotting procedures
- following procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
- following company steel standard guidelines
- correcting and reporting unsafe situations to facility management
- providing member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- assisting members with purchasing decisions
- locating merchandise
- resolving member issues and concerns
- promoting company products and services
- providing guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology
- processing member purchases
- assisting members with payments according to company policies
- assisting with transactions utilizing registers or self-checkout areas
- zoning and organizing merchandise
- complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- completing work assignments by using policies, data, and resources
- collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners
- identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations
- communicating progress and information
