Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Previous customer service and sales experience preferred
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of technology
- Willingness to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- Completion of YMCA's online training upon date of hire and periodically thereafter
- Ability to work flexible schedules including mid-day, closing, and Saturday afternoon shifts

- Ability to attend mandatory training and staff meetings
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and recognizing all members and guests
- Engage in active listening with prospects, members, and program participants to build relationships and understand their goals
- Utilize current operating software systems for membership sales, program registrations, and related functions
- Receive and document payments ensuring a balanced end-of-shift report
- Provide accurate information regarding membership, programs, and facility resources
- Follow and enforce YMCA personnel, safety, facility access, and membership policies
- Respond to customer questions and concerns in a caring manner and resolve issues promptly
