Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work full time

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • Ability to read and analyze detailed event orders
  • Proficiency in customer service standards

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator or host(ess) prior to functions and make introductions
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information
  • Determine proper set up, timeline, and specific guest needs including buffets and action stations
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • Follow up on arrangements to ensure compliance
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Perform other job duties as requested by supervisors
