Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years event management or conference services experience
- Luxury hotel experience preferred
- Knowledge of entertainment market
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with Delphi and Opera software
- Knowledge of food and beverage products
- Familiarity with meeting room capacities and banquet setups
- Strong basic math skills
- Excellent English communication skills
Job Qualifications

- Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred
- Extensive knowledge of entertainment market
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with Delphi and Opera systems, cloud-based experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage products and presentation
- Knowledge of meeting room capacities, banquet set-up, and audio-visual requirements
- Basic math skills and billing accuracy
- Strong communication skills in English
Job Duties
- Maintain strong client relations and ensure conference specifications are communicated and executed
- Monitor and manage room blocks and meeting space according to contract
- Review sales contracts and validate with clients via turnover letters
- Produce and distribute Conference Resume prior to group arrival and communicate updates to hotel departments
- Work extensively with Culinary team on catering events and banquets
- Establish best practices and SOPs for conference service department with Director of Catering
- Accurately forecast group rooms and food and beverage revenues
- Check and update room blocks and concessions with group reservations agents
- Participate in site visits and planning meetings
- Review all client bills for accuracy and timeliness
- Compile cancellation and attrition charges and send thank you notes and meeting critiques
- Perform other functions as required
