Job Requirements

  • high school or equivalent education
  • minimum of 1 year banquet service, events service or sales administrative experience
  • 2-3 years customer service experience in hotel, events or restaurant environment
  • working knowledge of spirits, wine, and dining
  • basic math skills and ability to handle billing accurately
  • ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English
  • luxury hotel experience preferred
  • bachelor’s degree
  • knowledge of Delphi software
  • advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Job Duties

  • create a welcoming environment for guests and associates
  • receive initial inquiries and provide preliminary catering information
  • forward qualified leads to catering manager for appointments or follow-up
  • answer questions and concerns and follow through to resolution or appropriate referral
  • manage events of 10 guests or fewer including contract creation, deposit schedules, BEOS, and event execution
  • serve as main contact for event hosts to assist with planning questions
  • assist managers in scheduling appointments, meetings, coordinating rentals and specialty items for events
  • conduct client site inspections, tastings, and entertain potential clients
  • create and assist with all internal booking reports
  • produce and distribute contracts, BEOs, resumes, catering paperwork, menus and correspondence as directed
