Job Duties
- fulfill guest needs relative to business center or clerical services such as typing copying faxing and making signs or nametags
- responsible for daily revenue for banquet and catering department including printing banquet checks acquiring signatures posting revenue and completing banquet recap spreadsheets
- assist in planning group events with director of executive meeting center and conference services manager
- compile and distribute all information regarding groups such as beos resumes event summaries and parking info
- provide information to guests relative to meeting and meeting services
- send and deliver guest faxes when appropriate
- send and receive guest packages and conference materials
- prepare signage for all conference functions
- maintain the shipping and receiving log
- post guest business-related charges daily
- maintain business center supplies inventory
- build and maintain good client relationships
- work as team with all other departments
- maintain shipping cage and business center cleanliness and order
- accurately maintain all group-billing files
- know names locations capacities capabilities and interactions of all conference rooms and areas
- be familiar with meeting room set-styles and proper setups
- be knowledgeable about business center services and amenities
- supervise daily operation of conference center including opening closing maintenance cleaning and guest management
- be available to answer guest or client requests including non-conference guests
- assist training and development of csa team
- respond promptly and properly to human resource situations
- attend meetings and staff reviews
- communicate all known problems to manager
- supervise projects routine cleaning and tasks as assigned
- ensure safety and housekeeping of all areas including back hall and storage
- follow sustainability guidelines related to earthview program
- practice safe work habits
- perform other duties as requested by management
