Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year institution preferred
- 3+ years experience in event planning or meetings management within the Medical Devices or Life Sciences sector
- Strong proficiency in event management technology such as Cvent
- Knowledge of HCP compliance regulations
- Ability to travel regularly with travel under 25%
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple concurrent projects successfully
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a lead planner role in the Medical Devices or Life Sciences industry
- Proficient in Cvent, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Experience with compliance regulations including Meal Caps, state and country laws, and Transfer Of Value reporting
- Collaborative team player with problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Job Duties
- Act as the main point of contact for your client and ensure all milestones are clearly communicated and met
- Work with your client and peers on procuring an ideal and compliant venue for each event
- Partner with your teammates to create clear and simple attendee communications and registration websites
- Communicate effectively with all hotel and vendor partners including hotel rooms, room sets, AV/Production needs, offsite and team building events, ground transportation, and signage
- Ensure all customer HCP compliance requirements are adhered to
- Ensure a positive and memorable experience for clients, attendees, and staff from invitation through onsite and departure
- Manage events on time, on budget and within compliance guidelines
