Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in event planning, particularly pharmaceutical or life sciences
  • Familiarity with event management software such as Cvent
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate vendor contracts and manage budgets
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Hybrid work arrangement based in Raynham, MA
  • College degree preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a lead planner role within pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Proficient in Cvent, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and consultative skills with stakeholders
  • Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of compliance related to meal caps, state and country laws, and transfer of value reporting
  • Ability to build professional relationships with vendors and stakeholders

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute all logistics for conventions and internal events including national sales meetings, training meetings, advisory board meetings, society engagements, tradeshows, and conventions
  • Act as the main contact for stakeholders ensuring milestone communication and consultative support
  • Communicate and coordinate with exhibit design companies and vendor partners including handling housing bureaus, badge ordering, booth design collaboration, AV/production needs, ground transportation, and signage
  • Build, monitor, and maintain accurate event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and explore creative cost-saving measures
  • Create clear attendee communications and registration websites along with well-timed communication plans
  • Ensure a positive and memorable experience for all participants from invitation through onsite to departure
  • Travel regularly as required
