Job Requirements
- minimum 3 years of relevant event planning experience
- hybrid work capability located in Raynham, MA
- ability to travel as necessary
- knowledge of pharmaceutical or life sciences industry preferred
- proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years in a lead planner role in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- expertise in using Cvent, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
- strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and confidently with stakeholders
- proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations
- experience establishing long-lasting professional relationships with stakeholders, co-workers, and vendors
- deep understanding of compliance including meal caps, state and country laws, and transfer of value reporting
- consultative and client-focused planning approach
Job Duties
- Plan and execute from start to finish all logistics relating to conventions and internal events including national sales meetings, training meetings, advisory board meetings, society engagements, tradeshows, and conventions
- act as the main point of contact for stakeholders ensuring all milestones are clearly communicated and met with a consultative approach
- communicate effectively with exhibit design company and other vendor partners including housing bureaus, ordering badges, collaborating on booth set design, AV/Production needs, ground transportation, signage, and more
- build, monitor, and maintain concise and accurate event budgets with creative cost-saving and compliance strategies
- negotiate vendor contracts and build long-lasting partnerships
- create clear and simple attendee communications and registration websites along with well-timed and accurate communication plans
- ensure a positive and memorable experience for all participants from invitation through onsite and departure stages
- travel regularly as needed
