Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in related field, preferred
- minimum of 5 years experience in meeting or event management
- proficiency in Cvent event management software
- advanced Excel skills
- experience managing travel and hotel bookings
- excellent organizational skills
- strong written and verbal communication abilities
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- availability to travel on weekends for onsite event support
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in related field, preferred
- 5 plus years experience in related field, preferred
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), preferred
- strong Cvent experience, preferred
- strong Excel experience, required
- strong travel and hotel booking experience, required
- strong organizational skills
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- ability to travel on weekends as needed to assist onsite at meetings and events
Job Duties
- Leads planning and execution of meetings
- manages event budget including forecast development and real-time updates
- conducts event reconciliation and validates vendor charges
- coordinates with venues and outside vendors for audio visual, food and beverage, and onsite logistics
- ensures adherence to compliance guidelines
- participates in internal and external meetings
- manages event registration and updates through Cvent
- leads onsite meeting logistics including vendor communication and coordination
- identifies and ships meeting materials and production needs
- serves as primary onsite contact for venue and vendors
