Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in event or meeting management, including budget oversight
  • strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing demands
  • destination knowledge or prior experience in hotel sales
  • experience developing and maintaining key client and supplier relationships
  • excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Job Duties

  • manage event logistics using the business program/event management system from contract turnover to final billing
  • coordinate communication between suppliers and clients, including site inspections
  • develop detailed itineraries and working agendas outlining all event specifics
  • collaborate with accounting to finalize billing and ensure accurate client invoicing
  • maintain accurate records and complete file management per company policies
  • serve as the primary client contact, ensuring objectives are met and expectations are clear
  • conduct regular status meetings with clients and stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle
  • track and report expenses, manage budgets, and reconcile supplier payments
