Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and conference services preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Professional appearance and adherence to dress code
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive group information

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Previous experience in a four-diamond or luxury hotel/resort environment preferred
  • Previous convention service experience preferred
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods

Job Duties

  • Provide daily support to in-house groups and meeting planners
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests
  • Maintain updated knowledge of daily event sheets, reader boards, group resumes, BEOs, and diagrams
  • Guide guests to meeting rooms and provide directional assistance
  • Communicate effectively with hotel departments via Nextel, email, and telephone
  • Handle guest challenges and complaints calmly and efficiently
  • Promote hotel outlets and amenities, including dining, spa, and recreational facilities
