Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Availability to begin work early in the morning as required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of local area attractions
  • Willingness to adhere to strict uniform and appearance standards

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Previous experience in a four-diamond or luxury hotel or resort environment preferred
  • Previous convention service experience preferred
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods

Job Duties

  • Being alert and attentive to guests' needs
  • Presenting a friendly attitude and excellent listening abilities
  • Maintaining professional uniformed attire
  • Overcoming guest challenges and complaints calmly
  • Utilizing daily event sheets, reader board information, and group resumes
  • Responding to guest and meeting planner needs promptly
  • Providing information on guest services and meeting room benefits
  • Communicating necessary information to hotel departments
  • Encouraging and promoting reservations to hotel outlets
  • Being knowledgeable about hotel fire safety procedures
  • Assisting guests with directions and local attraction information
