Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Availability to begin work early in the morning as required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of local area attractions
- Willingness to adhere to strict uniform and appearance standards
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Previous experience in a four-diamond or luxury hotel or resort environment preferred
- Previous convention service experience preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
Job Duties
- Being alert and attentive to guests' needs
- Presenting a friendly attitude and excellent listening abilities
- Maintaining professional uniformed attire
- Overcoming guest challenges and complaints calmly
- Utilizing daily event sheets, reader board information, and group resumes
- Responding to guest and meeting planner needs promptly
- Providing information on guest services and meeting room benefits
- Communicating necessary information to hotel departments
- Encouraging and promoting reservations to hotel outlets
- Being knowledgeable about hotel fire safety procedures
- Assisting guests with directions and local attraction information
