Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • availability to work Monday and Wednesday from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
  • ability to connect and coordinate with food vendors
  • basic computer skills including Google applications
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work well in a team
  • willingness to support custodial and administrative staff
  • ability to maintain a welcoming environment at the PLC
  • commitment to following safety and operational procedures

Job Qualifications

  • basic knowledge of event planning and hospitality
  • ability to effectively communicate with vendors and guests
  • familiarity with Google Calendar and Forms
  • experience with customer service
  • ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work collaboratively
  • good organizational skills
  • ability to use visitor management systems

Job Duties

  • connect with food vendors upon arrival to PLC
  • monitor Google Calendar and Forms to maintain a minimum of two week advance planning for upcoming events
  • set up for meeting/event by coordinating all necessary tasks with the Adult Transition Program and the Administrative Associate for Professional Learning
  • coordinate set up and tear down of food when an event is catered
  • coordinate with Adult Transition Program to inform of daily and weekly job opportunities
  • greet guests at the Welcome Center and provide answers to general questions from participants and facilitators
  • use the Raptor Visitor Management System to check in guests and print visitor badges
  • after an event, coordinate with custodial staff to plan for a room needing deeper cleaning
  • during an event, provide customer service to the facilitator or training partner
  • create a Google Form to send to the facilitator or training partner after the event to get feedback on services
