Job Requirements

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • fulfill physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs or more

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of job-related experience

Job Duties

  • Act as primary point of contact for larger meetings and events
  • provide support for smaller meetings and events as needed
  • create hospitable environment for attendees, event owners, and vendors on event days
  • coordinate guest services including arrival experience, transportation, signage, displays, special needs, printing, and event security
  • perform conference room turnovers and midday room refreshes
  • reconfigure rooms for evening indoor and outdoor spaces
  • set up, refresh, and remove food, beverage, and service items
  • maintain outlines of large space configurations and event-related items
  • complete room checks and ensure technical and visual spaces are functional
  • troubleshoot audio and technical issues
  • review post-event storage and inventory of tables, chairs, and equipment
  • respond to event activities by gathering supplies and managing facility security
  • manage large inventory of event supplies
  • generate post-event reporting and reconciliation reports
  • organize vendors and support speaker requests while ensuring vendor safety and insurance compliance
  • coordinate meeting and events calendar for medium to large event spaces
  • communicate event schedules with team and service providers
  • recognize and solve problems in own work area independently
  • evaluate and select solutions from established options
  • impact team through quality of services or information provided
  • follow standardized procedures with moderate supervision
