Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience and/or training
- Experience in corporate or conference center management preferred
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred
- Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people
- Warm and engaging demeanor
- Ability to assess circumstances, empathize and offer help
- Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote, Outlook
- Ability to learn and retain use of multiple software platforms quickly
- Good organizational skills
- Able to work well under pressure and proactively handle routine and non-routine situations

Job Duties
- Lead complex master meeting and events calendar for medium to large sized event space
- Handle each event as a project from planning through execution including creating detailed event planning timelines and ensuring deadlines are met
- Participate and/or lead planning calls ensuring all event aspects comply with building safety and security regulations
- Coordinate with internal partners and external vendors to manage client expectations
- Manage food and beverage including menu planning and client consultation
- Act as key contact to ensure seamless event delivery by the Meeting & Events operations team
- Capture post-event reporting, reconciliation and recommend continuous improvement and cost/process efficiencies
- Support and provide informal guidance to junior team members
- Assist with budget creation for events and ensure budget adherence including reviewing invoices timely
