Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year experience in event planning or related field
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • proficiency with technology including Google Suite and reservation systems
  • ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for most of the day
  • ability to work flexible hours based on event needs
  • customer service oriented
  • willing to work onsite during events
  • proactive and resourceful mindset

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in corporate or conference event planning
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to multitask under pressure
  • excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • tech savvy with Google Suite and reservation systems
  • knowledge of audiovisual equipment is a plus
  • positive attitude and natural rapport-building skills
  • able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • willingness to work flexible hours

Job Duties

  • Act as the main point of contact for event planning and execution
  • manage reservations, room setups, AV needs, and catering coordination
  • provide on-site support for events and liaise with internal teams such as facilities, guest services, and janitorial
  • communicate effectively across channels to keep stakeholders informed
  • track meeting space usage, provide suggestions for optimization, and follow up for feedback
  • handle event walkthroughs, pre-consultations, cancellations, and last-minute changes
  • ensure event spaces are clean, functional, and ready to impress
